To obtain some sense of the assessments of graduates, the Dean's Office commissioned a survey of graduates of the undergraduate Maxwell programs in the College of Arts and Sciences.
The primary goal of the survey was to obtain information useful to faculty and staff who manage activities within Maxwell. Since the Maxwell School is organized primarily by departments, and students receive their degrees with department and program designations, the survey focuses largely on perceptions of the department within which students majored. Some questions were asked about the Maxwell School and Syracuse University, but most questions are about the academic experience within departments.
There are also a few questions about what graduates have done since leaving Syracuse University, and how well they think their education prepared them for their subsequent activities.
A copy of the survey is provided at the end of the report in Appendix A.
