  2. a + bc
    Expression It is an expression since it means to add b to a and to subtract c from that sum.
  3. 24 = 3a + 9b
    Equation Here we have two expressions set equal to one another. Note that one of those expressions is an integer.
  4. 3x
    Term This is a product of a constant and variable.
  5. 24x2y + 5z = 12ac
    Equation Here we have two expressions set equal to one another. One of those expressions is a single term, 12ac.
  6. –156xwz
    Term This is the product of a number, –156, and several variables, x, w, and z.
